Hey, we're doin' alright!

Maybe with another push and a little Air America Radio play, we can do this again, only bigger.

I've heard it floated that we ought to target the State of the Union, coming up at the end of the month...

I'm a little late for this party but I'll be here til the bitter end. I will be incorporating this into my daily life by keeping an eye out for good spots to post and collecting all the signage material I can. How fun!

Please consider the following enhancement to the "Impeach" campaign - it should subliminally register, and linger annoyingly, helping to "infect" the populace with the Impeachment meme:

Impeach, Indict & Convict (oh my!)
(repeat)

You are all a bunch of idiots.

I agree. Please do the rest of us a favor and get a life. Do something, anything to help contribute as a productive member of this society. What you're doing isn't helping anyone here or abroad.

I am curious.. Have you put up signs protesting terrorism? I guess it's okay for you to have freedom, but no one else in the world should dare hope for a life free of oppression. Oh wait, wait. I get it. They had to fight by themselves against a murdering dictator. (You, however, have never personally fought for your own freedom. It was handed toyou at birth.) Hmm, I've noticed that people like you are much like those who know a relative or neighbor is abusing someone (a child, an elderly person.. ) and never call for help for the victim.

Naaahh... if we were idiots y'all would've elected us president. What we're doing is showing people here and abroad that some americans feel that torture, lying, spying and an illegal war (see: "murder")are as important to us as lying about a blowjob was to you. If you don't like it, move to North Korea.

You mean dictators like Saddam Hussein, Manuel Noriega, Suharto, the Duvaliers, The Somozas, the Generals in Argentina, D'aubuisson in El Salvador and Rios Montt in Guatemala... Ferdinand Marcos, Augusto Pinochet, Apartheid South Africa, and the Shah of Iran? You want me to protest those guys? 'Cuz they're your people, sport... not mine.

Hi FWB,
A good sign of reaching mass audiences is the appearance of trolls - so welcome trolls! I am pleased to see that FWB's message is reaching your eyes. I'm working up the courage to do a bit of postering myself, though living in MA as I do, it will be preaching to the choir mostly.

Aside to pandorasage, the actions of FWB and others here are supporting the troops. By calling out a criminal president who's prosecuting an illegal war, they increase the pressure on our government to actually craft a strategy to end this travesty and bring the troops home. (And hopefully, with an impeachment, we'll be getting a new President and Administration with an ounce of integrity and morality.)

"Impeach" - what a great word.

Freeway blogging seems to have kicked off pretty well.

The war in Iraq is illegal because the Bush Administration lied to Congress to get permission - there were NO weapons of destruction in Iraq, the Administration had evidence from the CIA to prove that, and ignored it. They withheld that information from Congress, and the uninformed Congress gave its approval.

I won't even get into the whole UN Security Council matter.

it strikes me as strange that a country with so many nuclear and chemical weapons like the US should have the power to root out other countries that develop them... shouldn't the US get rid of their own first?? kind of like taking the plank out of their own eye before removing the speck in the others'? what in God's name makes Bush any more responsible and honorable about his WMD than Saddam Hussein or whomever.... If Bush was in Iraq's situation, he would use them and probably think about it less. act first and worry about the press later. "oops the bomb already went off.... we didn't know it would do that... based on information at the time....." though can I really say anything? I am Canadian....

Is that all you have, fool?

Bubble,

The trouble comes from not doing this. But more directly to your point, our experience in Virginia was that even when the cops saw you doing it, they rolled right on by.

Hey litterbug, quit putting trash all over our country!

Hey, anonymous! You think Free Speech is trash? Move to North Korea.

Saw a fabulous, HUUUUUUGE sign across the tailgate of a green pickup truck in Oakland a couple of weeks ago:

IMPEACH THE LYING IDIOT

My hat is off to you!

IF WE EXERCISE OUR RIGHTS, democracy is available to us every day...it is not simply a question of marking a ballot on election day.

IMPEACH is the message.

It will be heard.

Now the chances of W getting impeached are about the same as Clinton. Heck, he was caught red handed lying under oath.
Here's a question for you guys- If you had a magic wand and was able to make W go away, who would you put in his place?

Hillary? Dean? Sharpton?

You guys at the grass roots level- you guys are all wasting your time making these stupid signs cause it aint gonna change nothin.
Politicians-on both side of the aisle- should all go away. These Clowns are really making us look real stupid all over.
The Capitol needs a huge enema. Wash em all out!
Do you reaaly think these Yale and Harvard maggots, who grew up with a silver spoon in their greedy little mouths, know whats up with us, the commoners? They are ALL so out of touch with our reality. So spend your time wisely. Both sides, right and left, need to get together and demand a political system change. The next ones in line for 2008 on both the Dems and the Republican lineups arent any better than what we have or could have had. We are just putting our own clowns in to screw things up!
The dugouts are full of morons and this will continue until we change the system.
Your candidate will say and do whatever it takes to be in charge.
They ALL lie!
All we can do I guess is be good to each other and hope our leadrership dont get us into too much trouble.

I like making signs better than "hoping our leadership don't get us in too much trouble..."

take all the reason out of the post and pick out the insignificant closing to respond to.

You're no better than the politicians and the suits.
Out of touch...

Gee guy, you'd think I'd respond better to a comment beginning with "you guys are wasting your time making stupid signs..."

Sorry laddiebuck, but the substance of your alternative was "everyone get together and throw everyone out" Great Idea. I'm behind you 100%. Now Go Do It.
