Placement Strategies

Thanksgiving weekend is, as I'm sure you know, the busiest driving time of the year in the U.S.. Not only are there more cars on the road, but each car is likely to contain more than one person. I like seeding the roads with free speech around Thanksgiving, giving Mom and Dad and Buddy and Sis something to talk about on the way to Grandma's house.

Below are some favorite tools and strategies for quick and easy sign placement.

Binder clips are essential. Quick, cheap and versatile, they can turn almost any flat thin surface into a billboard.

Trees are great. And they're everywhere. This posting took two bungee cords and ten seconds to complete.

Signbacks.

High Fencing

Arsenal of Democracy: The Bungee Cord.

Remember, the right to post non-commercial political speech on public property is one of the greatest and most protected rights we've got, but it only works if you use it.

I'm all geared up and ready to go. Don't want to disappoint my audience.

Thanx for the tip about using the paper clip thingys... they work really good for posting over thoses "For Sale" signs that line the highways of mich. Alot of them seem to be the same size so it's EZ to make signs that fit them. I also like how fast they are. I'm gettin' faster with each sign.
