To FreewayBlogger (whoever you are)

I first visited this site over 4 years ago. Your posters inspired me. I wanted to be you.

Here we are in 2010 and the wars continue.

And here you come, like a blast from the past with: "Thank You Mr. President!"

Now I know you are a tool, and it makes me sad. You play games FreewayBlogger. You play games.

Gosh, Thanks... I guess. We all do what we can I suppose. The "Thank You" signs are in response to getting the healthcare bill passed, not the wars. Mostly they were inspired by noticing it was a sentiment I've seen precious little of in the mainstream media, so I figured it was probably a good idea to express it. (Also, believe it or not, I really like this guy a lot more than the last one...)

Although I'm glad to hear my posters inspired you, if you didn't put any up yourself, I'd like to know what that means. Back when you wanted to be me, what was it exactly that was stopping you? And what, for that matter, is stopping you now?

Cardboard, paint and something to say. Doesn't really take much more than that.

Why didn't I put up any posters back then? The same reasons anyone puts any idea on the back burner- "I'll do it tomorrow/next week/next year."

I'm working on some stuff right now.... pretty much what you do but with images instead of words. (spraypaint stencils) At this point, the only thing holding me back is the logistics of the whole thing. (no car)

I still think what you did was awesome. The way I see it, the method of "freeway blogging" is/was years ahead of its time.

But this divide and conquer bullshit (US vs. THEM, LEFT vs. RIGHT, DEMOCRATS vs. REPUBLICANS) is old news and the sooner people come together and stop labeling each other, the better.

I just want you to attack Obama with that same killer instinct you possessed during the Bush years. Please?

Also, you spoke of "Tea Party stooges" in a previous post. I'm wondering if you've ever observed any of these protests?

"While I don't pretend to know every nuance of the [mandated medical-insurance] bill, whom it helps or how it could be better, I do feel a bit of thanks is in order for the man who pushed it through."
Like 'Anonymous", it has been over a year since seeing your site. This 'Thank You Mr. Prez' campaign is shocking! I would suggest you research issues before plastering signs all over our freeways.
This mandated-medical-insurance bill will bankrupt our already fiscally-dying country. As well as your own pocketbook. It forces people to buy medical insurance (totally unConstitutional, to force citizens to purchase a private product) with absolutely no restrictions on insurance company rate increases, or even basic coverage. You will no longer be ignorant of this issue next year when you get slammed with both a serious tax bill and high-cost mandated medical insurance demand.
obummer "pushed the bill through" as payback for the hefty campaign contributions from the insurance industry. obummer is No Different from boosh who you so brilliantly lampooned for 8 years.

If people want to hear how shitty Obama is, all they have to do is turn on their TV. Doing it on the freeways would be redundant.

So long as we're spending as much as the rest of the world combined on our military, pocketbook arguments on healthcare don't impress me much.

And if I thought Obama was the same as Bush, I'd leave the country. Gladly.
