"The invasion of Iraq will surely go down in history as one of the most cowardly wars ever fought. It was a war in which a band of rich nations, armed with enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world several times over, rounded on a poor nation, falsely accused it of having nuclear weapons, used the United Nations to force it to disarm, then invaded it, occupied it, and are now in the process of selling it." -Arundhati Roy

"If you do not speak up when it matters, when would it matter that you speak? The opposite of courage is conformity. Even a dead fish can go with the flow." - Jim Hightower

"The most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed." -Steven Biko

"It is wrong to expect a reward for your struggles. The reward is the act of struggle itself, not what you win. Even though you can't expect to defeat the absurdity of the world, you must make that attempt. That's morality, that's religion. That's art. That's life." -Phil Ochs

"My music is best understood by children and animals." -Igor Stravinsky

Who won the Public Punditry Contest? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yes, inquiring minds do want to know? Was it beachbloggers.8x32 ft IMPEACH made up of 8 panels? Panels that he carried on the trolley? Panels that he painstakingly hung one by one?

Or was it the yellow cups that spelled out IMPEACH?

The huge and very creative tarps hung form 50 ft pines trees up in Seattle? Or the "new guy" in Ohio?

Do tell us Scarlet.
