What i mean is that we still have troops stationed in Germany and some pacific regions. I mean when does the carnage stop? 60 years? What the hell, i mean FDR said that we had victory over the axis, but why are we still there?

Miguel,

Yeah, the carnage in Germany and Japan is just horrible!!!! It should be our TOP priority! We should all forget the content of Scarlet's post immediately and focus ALL our efforts on ending World War Two.

Only then can we tackle the problems which face us today!!!

Miguel,
You need to bone up on history. If you remember correctly Germany was divided in half after WWWII. Or during the war as you think it is still going on. Half was free the other half was communist. We stay and are still there today because the Gerrmans want us there. Remeber Bush said that he was going to pull are troops out of Germany after 9/11 and the people of Germany flipped out. Why? Because American service men and women aroung the world add so much to that countries economy. If we were to pull out of Germany , South Korea and all these other nations the worlds economy would go in the tank. Our troops are still supporting these countries just not in a military way. Miguel, maybe you should watch the history channel some and learn something about the world.

You know something, why are we the liberals blue? We should be red. We are the communists.

The formatting's kinda messed up on this. You can't see one of the images, and another pokes into the sidebar.

Well, I guess if you're going to push the issue, we're really still fighting World War I, WWII being a return to unresolved issues from The Great War, as well as the border conflicts that hinder us to this day after the maps were redrawn in the 20's. Hell, Cuba is still messed up because we handled the end of the Spanish American war so poorly. I think the only war equitably and completely resolved might be the war of 1812. Which could flair up if Tony Blair goes...

You Mean that was O U R Supreme Court that did that?

I thought it was going to be one of those 'trick ' posts that listed the Supreme Court of Russia, China or Iran.
