Saw the above next to the 101 around Ventura and, though none too eloquent, it did get its message across.
One of a number of trees lining the 101 south of Atascadero. Sign as placed is only visible to northbound traffic who'll have to drive for miles in order to reach it. Outside of Santa Maria I noticed one of my signs using the same dynamic still up on the back of a highway sign... It's been up for over four months now.
Top of Cuesta Pass - a favorite spot. Signs attach to wires in seconds using binderclips and duct-tape.
