I probably don't need to tell you what's wrong with these pictures: 1) the cardboard wasn't painted so the letters don't stand out quite as clearly and gives the overall impression of being, well... cardboard.
2) The duct-taping-between-signposts while undoubtedly quick, looks sloppy. Not that there's anything wriong with duct-tape - I use it to build and attach nearly all my signs - but going white-on-white looks ten times better. White duct-tape is a must for any serious freewayblogger.
3) Unless these signs are somehow physically separated from the roadway by a fence or barrier, I doubt they'll stay up for long.

What's right about these pictures though, is that they exist at all. They're proof that two guys from Alabama actually put paint on cardboard, threw it in a car with some duct tape and a camera and drove off into the night. I don't know what they thought they'd accomplish or what made them do it. Whatever it is though, this country needs more like them.

Sweet Home Alabama. If you guys are reading this, I picked up an off white gallon of paint from Home Depot's "Oops!" paint for like $5.
