A Friend Just Called...
To tell me that this sign was still up next to the Hollywood Freeway.
According to Caltrans it's been passed by over 200,000 cars per day, and
it's been up for eight days now.
I love that tree.
When that sign comes down I think I'll drive down to LA and put up a sign on the tree next to it that says "That other tree was right you know..."

Saw the same sign on Route 66 in VA yesterday. Yelled out, "Scarlet!'
