I'm sure you would be just as happy if someone threw a banana at Obama... Oh wait, no you wouldn't - because you're a hypocrite. (And a pussy).

Nonsense, anonymous. It would depend, like most things do, on the context. You'll remember that during the campaign someone threw a basketball at Obama, who promptly caught it and shot a three-pointer. Where was the outcry there? There was none, (apart from "Wow, nice shot!")because, (and this is the important part, so pay attention...) because of the context. They were on a basketball court playing basketball! (See how it works?)

Now then, let's have a look at your banana-throwing scenario and put it in some sort of context with the shoe-throwing done at Bush. Was the banana-thrower's country ransacked and destroyed with the cost of hundreds of thousands of lives and millions of refugees for no other reason than Obama's re-election? If so, my goodness! he can throw as many bananas as he likes without a word of complaint from yours truly. I'm against illegal and unnecessary wars and would therefore be all in favor of any attempt, symbolic or otherwise, to bring the matter to the public's attention, particularly if, like in Bush's case, the media, whose job it is to expose such things, remained mute.

If the banana thrower was simply a down-home racist like yourself, again, believe it or not, I say "Let the bananas fly!" You see, most of us take pride in the things we've accomplished in our lives. Lacking that, one must eke whatever sort of pride they can from those things they were simply dealt at birth: like their race, or birthplace. You'll note that the people who proclaim the loudest about being "proud to be an American" were born here, and had nothing whatsoever to do with the fact. Etymologically speaking they should be "Happy" to be an American, and leave pride to the people who deserve it: the immigrants who actually had a hand in their citizenship here.

The downside to this of course is that it leaves so many people like yourself with nothing really to be proud of, and, matters of usage and etymology aside, who am I to deny you that one simple conceit?

Hope this clears things up for you.

So freedom of speech only works when people agree with you and your extreme politics? Nice. You pussy.

Oh, and when the Negro sends 30,000 more troops into Afghanistan, I wonder if you will support that?

Dude, it works better if you READ the comments before replying to them: I'm the guy who coined the term "chimpeach" after all.

Freedom of Speech only works if you USE it. That holds true no matter what side of the political divide you're on.

I think the reason Obama's sending those troops into Afghanistan is to catch Osama Bin Laden (you know, the guy who killed three thousand innocent Americans who's name went unpronounced by the current President for close to two years only to then admit "I really don't care too much about him"... that guy.) So yeah, I'm all in favor of it. It's people like you who were dumb enough to believe that Iraq was behind the attacks (which, by the way, is probably what ended up dooming your party.) Remember, the one thing right wing reactionaries are supposed to be good at is blood vengeance, and I'm sorry but y'all couldn't even get that right. Next time try to keep your eye on the ball.

Hey, pissy-pants? If you're going to be a hateful, racist little shit, you can at least be a proper one - that's PRESIDENT Negro to you.

Live with it - Obama is going to be President, and whining little evolutionary throwbacks like you have failed, failed, FAILED!

Of course you didn't post my statement about Afghanistan. You fucking hypocrite pussy.

Yeah, sorry about that, anon... It was a really good one too: a real eye-opener, like so many of your comments here. Don't be discouraged though - keep at it. I can be something of a tough editor at times, but still, stick with it: your time here is really going to pay off one of these days.
