Allow me to explain: putting signs up on freeways that say "The War is a Lie." isn't meant to end the war, it's meant to express my opinion about the war to the ten thousand people who pass by every hour.

I hope that clears things up for you.

If you're so concerned about ending the war, why don't you DO something about it rather than just express your opinion?

Sorry dude, not my job. Ending the war is the job of the congress and/or executive branch. (Normally it's the job of the troops on the ground, but that's for real wars. not bullshit neocon GOP wars.)

My duty as a citizen extends no further than to express my opinion, but that's a duty I take very seriously.

Crack open an old civics textbook sometime, you'll find all this stuff's written down. You're gonna need to know it for your citizenship exam.

My two cents worth: Expressing your opinion and the truth is exactly what democracy is about. And I am sure you have made a difference. I say this without irony. Congrats on the persistence, the wit and the balls.

And the press ain't doing it...
