Roadside turnouts on divided highways are a textbook example of applied freewayblogging strategy. Simply pull over on turnout, drive to the far end and place your sign so that it faces the oncoming lanes. Remember, if you can see their windshields from the posting spot, they can see your sign. The amount of time you can see their windshield is the amount of time they can see your sign as well.
To maximize duration, make sure your sign is hidden from forthcoming traffic by bushes, poles, berms or traffic signs, as shown above. Remember that the strength of the medium resides in the fact that most high-traffic roadways are very strictly defined courseways, and that the lines of sight for people driving on them are constant and predictable. The above sign, on the southbound side of Highway 17 between San Jose and Santa Cruz, took about a minute to post, start to finish. It's entirely invisible to southbound traffic and practically unreachable to northbound.

Here's an article RIGHT UP YOUR ALLY that you will refuse to drop any ink on! You'll come back with some snarky comment, but you won't dedicate ANY time on your page to it! Hahahah!
Freeways. Signs. Political messages. Freedom of Speech. This is your game, Baby! Come on! Is "the man" getting your ire up with this story? My guess is NEGATIVE! Lame. Can you say HYPOCRISY?!?!

Au contraire, my predictable little friend. In the grand scheme of things, the Minutemen and I have much more in common with each other than we do with the likes of you. Thoughbeit from different sides of the political spectrum, at least we're DOING something we consider to be in the defense of our nation. You're not.
I doubt I'll be posting anything about their problems re: "adopt a highway" signs as it runs contrary to the whole philosophy of freewayblogging, and the Minutemen for that matter. You don't go running and crying because the government won't put up signs for you: YOU PUT THE DAMN SIGNS UP YOUR DAMN SELF.
Pass it on.
You think you're "doing something" by putting these signs up? YOU'RE NOT DOING SHIT! YOU'RE NOT MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
Your tone and your actions reek of self-importance... your self promotion, your videos, etc lead to your little lemmings heaping praise on your and fueling your ego. You're preaching to your own choir and assuming that their gushing reviews of your work means you're making a change. Guess what: you're not.
Wow, you are one narcissistic individual.
Listen, nobody embarks on endeavours like this one knowing they're going to make a change. That's simply not part of the deal. Gandhi said we should be the change we wish to see in the world: I want to see a world where people can speak their piece on matters of national importance to hundreds of thousands of their fellow citizens every day effortlessly and for almost no cost. That's why I do what I do.
As for narcissism, that's bullshit. It's well known that I'm practically Christlike when it comes to humility.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?!? You are one of the biggest narcissists I have ever encountered! You are so in love with yourself it's sickening! Your constant self-promotion, your illusions of grandeur (CHRISTLIKE?!?! Ghandi-like???), your self-produced videos, your interviews from news stations (very humble of you to post that here)...
You are seriously an enormous ego maniac and you know it! You may help feed and clothe people in need, which you should be commended for, but you should also be called out for the fact that you are a giant blowhard with excessive self esteem oozing out of your fat pores!
Sorry, guess I should've clarified a couple of things: lots of people try to adhere to Gandhi's prescripts, that doesn't mean they think they're Gandhi. When someone claims to be Christlike in their humility, it's a joke, see, because... oh never mind.
Dude, I'm beginning to suspect I'm not only the most narcissistic, but probably the ONLY person you've ever encountered. You need to get out more.
Mind you, I don't really talk to many people, you still are an incredible narcissist.
Thanks. I'm actually devoting an entire chapter to narcissism in my memoirs.
