Overpasses

Although they make for good photos, overpass blogs are probably the least effective in terms of reaching large numbers of people - they simply come down too fast. Signs placed along the periphery last much, much longer - days as opposed to hours - and thus end up reaching an exponentially larger viewership.

On the other hand, if you're driving around with a truck full of signs, it doesn't hurt to hit a couple of overpasses along the way.



Besides, if you keep doing it, every once in awhile you'll get an overpass blog that stays up for a good, long time. The sign below, for example, lasted all the way through rush hour and well into the night (illuminated). For all I know it'll still be up tomorrow. It took me about ten minutes to make and twelve seconds to hang.
