  2. Up for at least two hours too. Over six lanes of very, very heavy traffic.

Freeway, you are a hero and will someday not just be written up in history books but be the subject of doctoral theses in political science.

They're gonna name high schools after you. Seriously. :)

I admire you and your works more than I can say.

I live in Alaska, in Naknek. That is a wonderful thing you are doing. I wish that I lived in a place where I could spread such awareness and vent my frustrations in a positive way as you are doing. One quoestion: How do you put up so many signs in so public of areas and not get caught doing it?

  8. Pretty easy actually... apart from people in their cars, who are basically trapped, the freewaysides are veritable no-man's lands. With wire coathangars and bungee cords even huge signs can go up in less than a minute. Plus I wear an orange safety vest: a guy putting up a sign looks a lot like a guy taking down a sign.

Mostly though I'm protected by the belief that here in America, this is not only my right, it's my duty, and I'd have no problem whatsoever defending it in court, regardless of the outcome.

I'm pretty sure this is what the founders meant for us to do in times like these, so I do it.

Uh...Wonkette thinks you're slightly an idiot.

I wouldn't get too excited about the mention.
