tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076013.post3996633148099904314..comments2024-02-06T16:22:57.400-08:00Comments on Tales of the Freewayblogger: Words and PicturesFreewaybloggerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07290994906698327870noreply@blogger.comBlogger1125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076013.post-30794101633078656722007-09-08T11:55:00.000-07:002007-09-08T11:55:00.000-07:00right during rush hour traffic, i did my first fre...right during rush hour traffic, i did my first freeway blog yesterday! <BR/><BR/>wow. what a feeling.<BR/><BR/>unfortunately, after i bungied it up and got on the thruway to go take the photo, the borrowed camera i was using ran out of juice!<BR/><BR/>i had it set on "ready to take a picture" as i drove towards the entrance ramp and got on the thruway.<BR/><BR/>since it was gonna take at least a minute before i got to where i had posted the sign, i took a quick picture to make sure that the camera wouldn't auto-turn off before i got to the posting site.<BR/><BR/>right then, right after that picture click, the camera started beeping that it was now out of juice.<BR/><BR/>what the?!<BR/><BR/>anyway, guess what picture it randomly took?<BR/><BR/>a huge billboard!<BR/><BR/>but what's even funnier is that when i finally swung around at the next exit to turn around and approach my blogging from the other direction (hoping that turning off the camera for a few minutes would somehow give it enough stored energy to take one quick photo) when i got near my sign, it was flapping in the wind, totally unreadable.<BR/><BR/>yikes.<BR/><BR/>anyway, i was able to retrieve it for reposting.<BR/><BR/>i then went home to charge up the camera -- but by the time it was ready, dusk was approaching.<BR/><BR/>and that was my very first freeway blogging experience.<BR/><BR/>i'd guess that between twenty to a hundred drivers could have seen the Impeach sign during the short few minutes before it somehow came loose on one end.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
